Macarthur Banyan Tree with Sun Flare Palm Beach Gardens

Dec 8, 2012 | Floral Plants & Trees, misc

MacArthur Banyan Tree on North Lake Boulevard at entrance to Palm Beach Gardens. Three exposure HDR image processed in Photomatix Pro. Photo enhanced using Topaz DeNoise and Topaz Adjust. Sun flare is real and was created in camera. It might be a little too much but I was experimenting and having a little fun with it. This Banyan Tree is the symbol of Palm Beach Gardens and was placed here by John D. MacArthur, founder of the City of PBG. I saw this tree everyday while taking the bus to middle school but never knew it played such an important roll in this beautiful city that I live in.
