Kata Beach Summer Time Vacation in Phuket Thailand

Jun 20, 2012 | Travel & Culture

Yesterday I had a chance to go to one of the most popular beaches in Phuket Thailand. Kata Beach is a beautiful place with lots things to photograph. I even found a couple of Kingfishers which I’ll post later. This area of the beach was deserted because getting here required a little effort to get to because of the rocks. This is a 2 comp panorama for a total of 6 exposures. I tried to avoid halos but the sun was pretty harsh yesterday. But at least there was some decent cloud coverage. You can’t tell here but you’ll see later in some of the other photos that I’ll post today. Note… I’m 11 hours ahead so while most of you are sleeping I’m getting ready to take an afternoon swim in the pool.
