Jupiter Lighthouse Early Morning Before Sunrise

Aug 16, 2011 | Florida Beaches & Coasts

This is going to be a quick post, I’m in some crazy hotel in the middle Virginia, cops and fire department are all over the place. Not that I’m scared, I’ve been in worse situations, like in Thailand during the Redshirt Protest, but hopefully they all leave soon so I can get some sleep.

Anyways, I’m in Virginia because I’m heading up to Maine and Virginia is the halfway point. My final destination will be in Portland where my cousin lives. Estimated time of arrival in Portland is 8pm today. I’ll be there for 2 weeks so anyone in the area know of any good places to shoot send me an e-mail!

As for this photo it was a shot from the Jupiter Lighthouse from the US1 Bridge. I’ve always wanted to get a shot like this of the area. I had this image envisioned in my head but never had an opportunity to shoot it until this past weekend, when I drove passed the spot to shoot Coral Cove Park. Everything came to play just perfectly.
