This area of the park is one of my favorite spots. When the sun hits the water just right during sunset you get some amazing colors. A friend of mine recommended that I make the lighthouse a little bigger so I did. I think looks much better now. The disadvantages of using a wide angle lens… distant objects are super small.

Processing Technique: 3 exposure HDR merged using Photomatix. Detail enhanced using Topaz Adjust. Noise removed by Topaz DeNoise. Image smoothed using Topaz Simplify. Photo processed with Photoshop CS4.

Camera Used: Canon 5D Mark1

Lens Used: Canon 17-35mm f/2.8L USM

Camera Settings: ISO 200, Aperture Priority, f/2.8 @ 1/200 of a second, AEB +2/0/-2

Processing Time: 60 minutes

Location: Jupiter Inlet Park Dubois, Florida
