Jellyfish at Juno Pier During Sunrise

Apr 7, 2011 | Florida Beaches & Coasts, Sunrises & Sunsets

I am finally back in Florida… and boy did I miss the sunrises at the beach. After walking my dog this morning I decided to take a quick drive down to the Juno Beach Pier to the shoot the sunrise. I would have gone up to Jupiter but it was already too late. The sun had rose over the horizon by the time I got to the pier.

After shooting a few compositions… the usual ones, I walked north a little and found this jellyfish. People at the beach probably thought I was insane following it… because the waves kept washing it away. It was actually quite annoying, but I really wanted to add something different to this photo. It’s not a huge jellyfish but it did the trick by adding more diversity to scene that I shoot regularly.
