Grandma’s Pig and Seven Baby Piglets

Apr 4, 2011 | Animals & Wildlife, Single Exposure HDR

Here’s another shot of Grandma’s pigs and baby piglets. There was a total of nine piglets at birth, two were DOA and one died a couple weeks later. Grandma said the piglet died from illness but I think it died because of the cold front that hit Thailand recently. So now there’s only six baby pigs at the time of this post. Grandma offered to cook one of the piglets for me but I had to decline. She said they were delicious at this age. I was tempted… but my conscience has a hard time eating one of Winnie the Poo’s friends.
