Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens – Coral Gables, Florida

Mar 5, 2010 | Landscapes & Scenery

August is heat stroke month in Florida, so to celebrate Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens has a special offer. Free admission every Sunday for the month of August! Super offer considering the price of admission is 20 dollars. But is it really worth walking underneath the Florida sun at high noon? Sure… just make sure you’re cover in SPF 1000 and wearing a 10ft sombrero. For those who enjoy taking pictures of floral and plant life, the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a gold mine. However if you prefer animals I would suggest the Miami Metrozoo.
