Website Undergoing Major Changes

I want to apologize to all the loyal Captain Kimo fans out there who frequently visit this site. I know I haven't been posting photos as often as I use to. That's because I've been busy working on two new projects. Actually... there is a third project but that's been put on hold since I'm only a one man show.

The first project is redesigning CaptainKimo.com. It's a new year and it's time for a new look. I've learned a lot from photo blogging in 2009 and I'm going to use what I've learned and implement it into the new site. The new site will focus on simplicity, ease of use, and navigation. I'll also be updating the tutorials since my technique for HDR has changed. There are also tons of other smaller changes that I won't have time to mention. However I'm positive that all these changes will help propel CaptainKimo.com to new heights.

The second project I have going on is a new website. This new site will be a membership based website designed to teach photographers everything about HDR photography. It will be an online workshop full of videos that will show you step-by-step how to get amazing HDR results. This website will be replacing the DVD video that I planned on producing. After months of thought and consideration I've decided that streaming the video from a website would be more efficient than distributing with DVD. Plus there are many other benefits by using a website. I can add new videos as my technique changes, as I'm sure it will. Not to mention that websites are a lot more ECO friendly than DVDs are.

So as you can see I have my hands full for a few months. I will try to update CaptainKimo.com a couple times a week. My plans are to post new photos every Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you'd like to see something added or changed in the new CaptainKimo.com please send me a message or leave a comment.
