Cedar Key Sunset Over Old Stilt House at Bayou Florida

Apr 23, 2012 | Wetlands & Everglades

I am almost finished post processing images from my Cedar Key trip. I got a couple of more shots coming and I’ll be done. This one was taken after sunset when we left to shoot the the front bayou of Cedar Key. Cedar Key seems to have a lot of these old stilt buildings, perfect for HDR photographs.  This one took me a little bit of work. I played around with a lot of different effects to get it just right. The pelicans I added to the image for real Florida feel. This is a 3 exposure HDR image tone mapped in Photomatix Pro, processed in Photoshop with enhancements done using Topaz Plugins, and minor color and detail adjustments in Lightroom.
