I am totally claiming this as Captain Kimo’s Driftwood, lol. So if you plan on going out to shoot this you’ll have to refer to it as Captain Kimo’s Driftwood.
This evening I went out to Singer Island and walked across the Lake Worth Lagoon to Munyon Island. I was hoping to get a good sunset but that didn’t happen. It was looking pretty good until it disappeared behind some dense clouds. At least I managed to snap this self portrait before the sun vanished.
The Kapok Tree in Palm Beach Island next to the Flagler Museum can’ t be appreciated in a picture unless there’s someone standing next to it to show it’s enormous size.So here’s a shot of me standing on one of it’s roots.
Another self portrait shot at the Flagler Museum overlooking the West Palm Beach Skyline. This one is a non HDR image with processing done in Photoshop and Lightroom.
Here I am thinking these pilings were only knee deep, as got closer it kept getting deeper. The sun was setting and I had no other foreground in sight. It was this, or miss the sunset, so I kept going and got the shot and one with me to remember.
Single exposure of a couple of young girls preparing fish at the local food market in Battambang Cambodia. Dynamic range image processed using Photomatix Pro HDR software.
Self portrait of Captain Kimo at the beach in his natural environment during sunrise. This is a pseudo HDR image created using Topaz Adjust.
Here’s an HDR self portrait of me from Munyon Island. The only way to get the breathtaking imagery of this scene was to do a panorama so this might be a large file for some of you to look at.
Friendly folks that I met at the Jupiter Inlet. They wanted me to shoot a portrait of them but I told them I’m not as portrait photographer but I would be more than happy to take a photo if they let me post it on my blog
