Now I’m not just limited to photographing scenes on land, I can go into the depths of the Loxahachee river if I desired!
I’ve had this boat for over 2 months and today was the first time taking it out. The only reason that I didn’t test it sooner was because I hate paddling ;-)
But now that I finally got a small electric motor, it was time to see if the boat actually floats. The boat ended up doing a fantastic job. The motor could be a little stronger but I was satisfied with it.
The thing that makes this boat special is the hard floor. Most inflatable boats like this only come with floors that fill with air. With this boat I can stand on it and this allows me to take pictures as I venture into the rivers of Florida.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a good photo because I left the main camera at home. But I did manage to get a cool shot with my Android phone using the panoramic mode!
I can now say that I am a true Captain, even if it’s only a Captain of a balloon, I’m thrilled that I can venture into new territory.
